Yesterday, I found a death record for Vincenzo Marcone and on his death record it says that he's the son of Giovannicola Marcone and Marianna who's last name I can't make out but starts with an S. It says on his death record that his parents were Contadini. After that, I began a search for Giovannicola's death record. I found one Giovannicola throughout my search that could potentially be him, but I am still very unsure. It says that he was 60 at the time of his death in 1813 and his children are listed on the bottom where I see the name Vincenzo which checks out. What confuses me is that he had a wife who's name was Marianna but on the record, she's listed as Marianna Ruffini and his occupation was "Vaticale" and not Contadino. I wanted to know what you all think and if this could be him?

Vincenzo Marcone died 23 August 1858
He was age 67, a peasant farmer (contadino), born in Atri and resided there.
He was the son of deceased Giovannicola, peasant farmer, and of deceased Marianna Sticchietti (? - I do not find this name in the province) He was the husband of Maria Vincenza Grazioli.

Giovannicola Marcone died 30 August 1813.
He was age 60, a vaticale (hauler)
Giovannicola was the widower of deceased Marianna Ruffini, and son of deceased Saverio Marcone, and deceased Caterina Caposcialli.
He leaves behind 4 adult sons - Domenico, Francesco, Vincenzo Marcone, and a minor son Luigi Marcone; and 3 adult daughters - Anna Giuseppa, Annantonia, and Anna Gaetana Marcone.
Perhaps finding a marriage for Vincenzo (wife's name above) will help to identify his mother, and verify your find.
Edit to add:
Here is a marriage (1816) for Vincenzo Marcone, son of Giovannicola Marcone who died 30 August 1813, and Marianna Sticcozzi who died 9 February 1805.
Marriage to Maria Vincenza Spezialetti.

It appears that the clerk recording Vincenzo's death was a bit hard of hearing...

Hi T thank you for getting back to me. I don't think the record that you sent is the right one because, I also have a birth record for Giovanni Marcone who is the son of Vincenzo Marcone and Maria Vincenza Graziosi, not Spezialetti. There is also a marriage document for Giovanni Marcone and his wife Eleonora di Febbo confirming that his mother's name was Maria Vincenza Graziosi.

Re: Giovannicola Marcone
Then that would indicate that the death act you posted for Giovannicola Marcone is not the father of your Vincenzo, since his death date matches the death date in the incorrect marriage act.
