Looking for researcher in Caserta

Post by Amansolillo »

Hello, I am looking for a researcher in/near Caserta who offers digitalization of parish records. I would like to see if the records in Vairano Patenora could be digitized.
Towns of interest: Panni, Itri, Ceprano, Pontecorvo, Prata Sannita, Canicattini Bagni

Hello! My ancestry is also from Vairano Patenora!

I reached out a couple of years ago to the San Bartolomeo Church via their Facebook, asking if the parish would be willing to provide me with a record.

The person who handles the church's social media account said they talked to the parish priest and the response is that he would be happy to assist me if I visit in person, however he considers these to be "closed records" and will not provide information about them over the internet.

I have spoken with a woman who is familiar with these records and she says that they go back to the 1600s.

Please let me know if you have any luck!
