Help with handwriting on ship manifest

Post by cgruppuso »

Can someone please tell me what the attached photo says?
I read it as "brother in law Michele Schia_allo" (can't read the whole name).
And the line below: could it be 611 11th St? (I'm guessing Brooklyn.)

Thank you. I hadn't come across that record. I'm still learning how to search Ancestry.

It is possibly Michele Schiralli, which is a name that appears in the town of Bitetto, Bari. Maybe they have written an 'o' at the end of the name in error. Can you post the full document please. Thank you.

I did find a Michele something who came from Bitetto and lived in Providence, but I don't know if that's the same person or not. I think the ship manifest I found for him had him arriving after Antonio Loverro did, so that didn't make sense to me.

This is a 1907 ship manifest of a Michele Schiralli joning to his cousin Saverio Burdo on 642 11 st New York so maybe could be the brother in law of Antonio
