Latin record translation -- groom's parents?
Latin record translation -- groom's parents?
What's with the groom's parents? Is Mattia Pollo the mother or the groom's previous bride? Are there no parents names listed?

Re: Latin record translation -- groom's parents?
What I understand-
Gregorio Mamalito, the groom, was the widower of deceased Mattia Pollo. The bride, Margarita de Campo, was the daughter of deceased Calogero de Campo and living Francesca de Franco. No parents listed for the groom.
BTW, where did you get this Menfi church record from? I have ancestry from that town but have never seen online church records.
Thanks.

Thanks, Matt. I actually searched online right after I replied to you and found that website. Hopefully I'll have some free time in coming weeks to explore those records.
