The child was presented to the official on 17 October 1838 by the father, and was baptized in the Parish Church of S. Elia on that day (17th)
Father: Gerardo Tedesco was age 29, a laborer, residing in the hamlet of Sovvieco of the comune of Giffoni
Mother: Maria Vecchio, age 27, residing in Sovvieco with the declarant
Child was born (as you say) on 16 October 1838, at 4 AM in their home and given the name Caterina

This Caterina, born in Villa San Giovanni, is the daughter of late Giovanni Tedesco and late Fortunata Caminiti.
