Difficult to say without the context of region/province of Italy.
However, that being said, it looks like Buttarelli (found in the Lazio Region, and also found in L'Aquila and Teramo in the Abruzzo Region)

Thank you PippoM and Tessa78. I believe that the photo postcard is from a maternal relative in Narni, Italy (Umbria).
But, if it is from the paternal side of the family, we do have relatives in the Abruzzo region.

Though in small number, the surname Buttarelli is found in the town of Terni, in Umbria region today. 
Narni is a town in the province of Terni, Umbria region.
