I am trying to track down four brothers from Oggebbio
Anselmo b.1854
Egidio b.1855
Solperini b.1858
Ignazio b.1867
Egidio emigrated to London around 1882 and died in 1938. He is my wife's great grandfather. We believe he had two nephews who died in WWI but we do not know their names. His own son George Battista Canetta was killed at Thiepval 9th September 1916.
We visited Oggebbio this June but only found reference to an Anselmo Canetta in the cemetery but no dates.
Can anyone suggest where we may be able to track down some information on this Canetta family?
Many thanks
Neil Bryant
