Looking for any other information about Cosimo Borgatta. (? - 1912). Married to Benedetta. Had at least two sons, Marco and Angelo (both immigrated to NY). Cosimo and Benedetta are both buried in Genova

Here is the death act of Benedetta Patrone in 1912 in Cornigliano Ligure.

Dated 23 January - death on 22 January.
One of the declarants was Cosimo Borgatta, 71, surveyor, her husband
Benedetta Patrone was age 72, housewife, born in Voltri to deceased Angelo Patrone, and to deceased Maria Gambino, both of whom resided in Voltri in their lifetimes.

Cosimo Borgatta was reported as age 78, surveyor, born in Bosio to deceased Romolo Borgatta, engineer; and to deceased Francesca Ricchini, well-to-do; both of whom resided in Ovada in their lifetimes.
Cosimo was the widower of Benedetta Patrone

I would think the age of 71 was more accurate since Cosimo was stating that himself.
In his death act, the age was reported by others.
