Trying to find information on Nicola Farro

Post by marialeegeiger »

Ciao! I am trying to find information on my grandfather who immigrated to the USA in 1919. His name was Nicola Farro (born in 1902) and he was born in Castelpetrosa, Campobasso. He had a brother named Carmine. If anyone has any information, please share. Thank you, Maria

You should be able to find these records under the State Archives of Isernia on the Antenati site.

Unfortunately, the online records for Castelpetroso only extend to 1899.
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/search- ... telpetroso

Checking the birth indices for 1899 back through 1893, shows several Farro births, but none for Carmine.

Do you know the names of Nicola's parents? Maybe we can find a marriage act for you.
If you do not know their names, do you know the names of Nicola's children in their order of birth?

Tessa, I did just find out that my great grandfather's name was Enrico Farro, so maybe I can find something! I will spend the rest of the weekend investigating! Thank you so very much!
