Before me Ficà Doctor Luigi, Approved with deed, Civil Status Officer of the Municipality of Marsala: appeared Caito Nicolo from Girolamo and Caterina Falco, age twenty-six, carpenter, residing in Marsala, Special promissory of Caito Pietro, unmarried, age twenty-eight, blacksmith, residing in Marsala and for one year in America, son of Girolamo, age sixty-three, carpenter, residing in Marsala, son of Caterina Falco, housewife, residing in Marsala. Appeared Gandolfo Rosa, unmarried, aged eighteen, housewife, residing in Marsala, daughter of Vincenzo aged forty-one, carter, residing in Marsala, daughter of Arini Francesca, housewife, residing in Marsala.

The documents are: copies of the birth certificates of the bride and groom, issued by me today, the special mandate received by notari Vito Napoli in Roselle New York - United States of America on the seventh of September, a declaration of four witnesses in the state liberti of the betrothed, a deed issued in accordance with the laws above and indicated in the special mandate forwarded by the groom as evidence to the court in the previous year.

I've made a start but will have to come back to it later because I'm finding the quality of the image and duplicates not so easy to read, so you've done really well with this.

No problem at all. Take your time. This took me over a week to translate. I found it was easiest to work on it one section at a time. After a while the words seemed to blend together and I had to take a break

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your help. This is the earliest relative I have found that came to the United States. I'm hoping to find some records here in the U.S. as well
