Marriage Handwriting Translation help needed

Post by ttrott »

Can someone please help with deciphering and translating the handwriting on this Marriage Entry. It's the one on the right hand side Guidotti/Nieri

I've made a start using AI to translate the typed words but I can't make out the handwriting except for a couple of words. Here's what I have worked out so far.

"In the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, on the tenth day of February, at eight o’clock in the morning ……..minutes, in the Town Hall of Lucca, open to the public. Before me

Civil Status Officer, dressed in official form, personally appeared
#1 Guidotti Tommaso, twenty-four years old, born in ………………..., residing in Lucca, son of …………………, residing in ………………………..…, and of ………………………………………Residing in Lucca
#2 Nieri Adele of years …………………… born in Lucca, residing in Lucca, daughter of …………………….. residing in …………………and of ……………………………….… residing in Lucca, who have requested me to unite them in marriage; for this purpose, they have presented to me the document described below; and from the examination of this, as well as those already produced at the time of the request for publications, all of which, endorsed by me, I insert in the volume of attachments to this register, resulting in no impediment to the celebration of their marriage, I have read to the spouses articles one hundred and thirty, one hundred and thirty-one, and one hundred and thirty-two of the Civil Code, and then I asked the groom if he intends to take as his wife the present Nieri Adele, and to her if she intends to take as her husband the present Guidotti Tommaso; and having each responded affirmatively With full understanding also of the witnesses indicated below, I have pronounced in the name of the law that they are united in marriage. To this act were present:"

(No idea what any of the rest says.)
