Hi Everyone! Newbie to Italian genealogy checking in here.
I recently ordered the marriage certificate (UK) of my italian ancestor and have been trying to decipher his father's name.
Benittia? Beniltia?
I am not very familiar with Italian names, but aren't most -a names feminine? Perhaps it was written incorrectly?
This document is one of the only ones I have for my italian ancestor so any help would be much appreciated.
Who is the father on this marriage certificate?
Re: Who is the father on this marriage certificate?
I would say that it is a phonetic spelling of Benizio.
