Family De Faveri detto fossetta - Musile Croce

Post by txg »

Hi all,

Im Having a lot of issues to evolve my tree to trace where and when my trisnonno died.
Musile priest is slightly reluctant to run research
Could anyone point me out alternative sources in Musile Croce area to run research.
I spend my day on Family search/Geneanet, so not This source. My family doesn't have a robust tree and it's been a tough chore.

To make it better my nonno married a Toffolo. God knows where she is from and where she died. 🥹😭

With a lot of research I was able to define that we are detto fossetta which helps a lot.
But that was it

Any De Faveri detto fossetta here?

Thank you

Perhaps knowing the first name and dates of the people you are looking for could be helpful.

Hi,
the information I need is not widely available online and because there were 3 de Faveri's (detto deo, menegetti and detto fossetta) in the area I thought about using the forum to see if there is any direct descendant. I can't use Antenati because of the timeframe, only if I knew who was Luigi's father and mother. I don't know exactly when or where he died, I can estimate because he appears dead by the time my ancestor got married. I can't find the marriage certificate because the last name is not common to the region, I have messaged over 100 churches so far. Not a lot respond, therefore I am relying on family members, as online sources are not necessarily helpful for this timeframe. There is a possibility of the records have been burned down because of the war. The other possibility is that the records are with Meolo but the priests don't respond email. I am a bit stuck. Not because I dont know how to research or use sources but mostly because I cant access this type of information due to timeframe.

If you don't want to provide names and dates of the people you'd like to find, it's impossible to help you. Happy searching!

Maybe Meneghetti, not Menegetti.

There are De Faveri "detto" Deo in Noventa di Piave and San Donà di Piave.

Fab tx a million

That's what I have been doing going through all vicino citas and saving records to create the profiles. I don't see my family listed in any. I have search naming variations as well. I've gone through the files for over three months over and over to see if I had missed out something. I'm saving all records that are de Faveri and/or mention. Fossetta. I know the detto deo descendent and he has a robust tree so I can confirm that it's not DEO. MenegHetti don't seem to add much their nicknames. So I'm mostly saving the fossetta and the ones that live in the frazione fossetta croce which is where my family was from.

Hi, I will forward to my detto deo colleague
My ancestor is listed on this website but not his nickname
if you type the name I have given you before as a father you will see it

What I have started doing is searching for fossettas on family search, sometimes its not listed on name but where they lived frazione croce fossette
I will create the profiles and add the sources to it, hopefully one day will link
My family hasnt got a family tree and its quite challenging, the detto family have a robust tree and I am in touch with their descedents

Hi, I need your help

With the help of locals, I was able to have some book data about old de Faveri's.

I have noticed a pattern on some information provided:

- De Faveri detto deo was Fabris and was based on Croce Musil, and their last name never changed, it was also Fabris detto deo, or, de Faveri detto deo

The other family was:

- detto de Favri, and it was based in Musile register Torcello – Cavazuccherina

While I cannot guarantee that this is the De Faveri detto fosseta as we also have the Meneghetti's, it is a good clue.
Which church would be the church in charge of the records of this specific region? Jesolo Eraclea area?

Thank you very much for all the help.
