Mallozzi - Minturno
Mallozzi - Minturno
Hello. My husband's great-grandfather, Antonio Mallozzi, petitioned for naturalization in 1921 (before marriage), went back to Italy and got married, then came back to the U.S. and was naturalized in March 1927 (a year after my husband's grandfather, Stefano, was born in Minturno). At some point after naturalization, Antonio went back to Minturno to stay. Together, the whole family came over permanently in June 1929. We are trying to establish whether Antonio resided a full two years back in Minturno to earn back his Italian citizenship. Is anyone able to help check residency status of Antonio during the period of March 1927-June 1929?

You could write to the town or angel research and genealogy services. Could do that for you in person. Sometimes it’s hard to get residency information by mail.
