On this marriage record, it reads something about Brasil. Can someone please translate regarding what is being mentioned about Brasil?
Groom is Vincenzo Citriniti and Bride is Gregoria Fava.

I’m understanding that the groom had been a resident in Sao Paulo, Brazil for a year previous to this marriage publication, and during that time, and up to the date of this marriage publication, had not contracted either a religious or civil marriage with anyone which would prove to be an impediment to this upcoming marriage.

Vincenzo was a widower, previously married with Rosa Fava and at the time of the second marriage he was residing in Pentone again.

Rosa’s parents were Antonio (deceased) and Maria Tarantino.

Although Rosa and Gregoria carried the same surname they were certainly not sisters but they still could have been related.
