Post by jtamatt »

Hi
I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could help me translate the marriage record of Vincenzo Di Gaetano and Pietra Fisichella.

Many thanks for your help

The year is 1778 and not 1776.

May 19, 1778

Banns were on the 21st and 26th of April and resulted in no impediments to the upcoming marriage.

Groom: Vincenzo de Gaetano, son of deceased Master* (title) Michele (de Gaetano) and living Carmela Coppula.

Bride: Pietra Fisichella, daughter of deceased Giovanni Fisichella and living Anna Sapuppo.

Thanks for catching that I accidentally forgot to type the date of the third bann, when I was rushing to leave earlier. Always appreciate a second set of eyes.
