Changes to Italian Law on dual passport

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Changes to Italian Law on dual passport

Post by trevisan2 »

My Attorney in Italy yesterday told me Italian Court just changed who can qualify for dual citizenship. It’s two persons past who ever was born in Italy.

Also there is a clause of adulthood requirement too.

Also Comuni are starting to charge 250 euros for birth certificates.
Vazzola comune in Feb 1, 2025 changed because they want to slow down the flow of people. I was told that all the comune will follow.
