Hello,
I was hoping to get a translation of this wedding record. All of it would be helpful, but I'm specifically interested in the Cesare Cardoni reference and the Cardoni reference toward the bottom.
I am trying to find Minelli ancestors from Gubbio from 1850 to 1900. The only one I know of right now is Filomena Minelli Cardoni (1867-1948), who was Cesare Cardoni's (1867-1948) mother. Her father was potentially Andrea Minelli (no dates). I'm wondering if this could be a cousin.

Minelli wedding record translation
Re: Minelli wedding record translation
In this record Cesare Cardoni is one of the witnesses to the recording of the civil marriage act.
Often these witnesses are no relation to the couple, and just happen to be at the town hall at that time.
Cesare Cardoni is identified as age 24, laborer, residing in the town (Gubbio.)
The bottom reference indicates that he signed the act with the official and the others were illiterate.
Since the marriage act is dated 1906, that would make this Cesare Cardoni born about 1882.
I am assuming that the birth year (1867) that you posted above for Cesare is in error? Since you posted the same birth year for his mother...
As to the marriage act translation:
Dated 3 November 1906 in Gubbio
Groom: Giambattista Fatabbi, farmer, unmarried, age 27, born in Gubbio on 1 September 1879, son of deceased Domenico [Fatabbi], and of living Maria Cecchetti, residing in Gubbio
Bride: Annunziata Minelli, farmer, unmarried, age 20, born in Gubbio on 26 May 1886, daughter of Raffaele [Minelli] and of Virginia Antoniacci, both residents of Gubbio.
Publication of Banns was on 21 and 28 October in this town.

Re: Minelli wedding record translation
thank you for this translation and your comments. I input Cesare's birth year wrong. He was born in 1882. This is likely him. Minelli being a family name, I guess there is a chance this is a relative. More clues in the names here I can work on.
Thanks again,
Chris

Re: Minelli wedding record translation
That is what I suspected
Here is the marriage of Cesare Cardoni (son of Giuseppe Cardoni and Filomena Minelli) in November of the same year (1906)
#219
Dated 3 November 1906 in Gubbio
Groom: Cesare Cardoni, laborer, unmarried, 24, born in Gubbio on 15 April 1882, son of deceased Giuseppe {Cardoni] and of Filomena Minelli, residing in Gubbio
Bride: Carmela Meletti, unmarried, 21, born in Gubbio on 5 February 1885, daughter of Stanislao [Meletti] and of Orsola Zerbini.
Publication of Banns: 21 and 28 October
Giambattista Fatabbi was one of the witnesses to the recording of the marriage. Looks like they were both there to get married.

Re: Minelli wedding record translation
thanks. I have that one and I was actually working backward from it since I now know more of the contemporary names from the time period.
Can you look at one more?
