Once again this is a hand written complete copy of of the following birth record, written in 1909. It was requested by Maria Michela Mezzanoto. Here are the vital details:

Birth Act No 60 of Maria Michela Mezzanote
Registered on 15 May 1866

Before Antonio Capuano, Mayor of this town of Calenza Valfortore, appeared Pasquale Mezzanotte, son of the deceased Francesco, 28 yo, contadino, living in said town. He presented a baby of female sex, and reported that she was born on 15 May at 6 am from his wife Maria Saveria Rosano, daughter of the deceased Vincenzo, 30 yo, living with him (the declarant). The baby was born in the house they lived, in this this town of Celenza Valfortore, Strada Comunale, and was given the name of Maria Michela.

Re the envelope, for some reason I can’t rotate it. I’m getting a sore neck trying to read it. My thinking is that they probably subscribed to a periodical from that institution. My mother supported an orphanage in Italia for many years, it may have even been the same one, and we would often receive communication, especially at Christmas.

This is the birth certificate of Maria Michela Mezzanotte.
She was born in Celenza Valfortore (Foggia) on 15 May 1866 to Pasquale Mezzanotte (son of the deceased Francesco), a 28-year-old farmer, and Maria Saveria Rosano (daughter of the deceased Vincenzo), a 30-year-old farmer.
A copy was made on 6 February 1909 from the original kept at the Court of Lucera, as the original kept at the Town Hall was destroyed in a fire.

The envelope is unrelated to the document because it is from a printed newspaper which also features the postcode of Padua in the sender's address. This postcode was not introduced until 1 July 1967.

After reading what mmogno has written, ignore the blue highlight here. I obviously misread a word. I'm finding the lightness of the script a bit tricky to read. It was interesting to read that the original document had been destroyed in a fire. I didn't know that.
