Antonino Mazzù was born on 26 May, 1836 in Monte Albano, to don Santo Mazzù and donna Tommasa Campisi.

I’ve been holding on to this translation ever since yesterday when it was first posted. Unfortunately when I went to post it yesterday I couldn’t access the forum and I’ve only been able to access it now. It has some extra detail in it to mmogno’s translation.

Birth No 71: Antonino Mazzu
Registered Montalbano on 27 May 1836

Appearing was Don (title) Santo Mazzu, 35 yo, trafficante (dealer/merchant), living in this town. He presented a baby boy born from Donna Tomasa Campisi, his legitimate wife, 35 yo, living with him, and from himself the declarant, details as above. The baby was born in their home on 26 May 1836 at 12 am and was given the name of Antonino Mazzu.

Right Column: Antonino Mazzu was baptised in the Mother Church on 29 May 1836.
