Need Help!!

Can anyone help me? I'm looking for my great grandfather. His name is Agazio Bressi(not sure if last name is spelled correctly). He born March 18, 1888(some say his birthday is the 19th not 18th) in Guardavalle, Italy. His father's name is Pasquali Bressi and mother's name is Teresa. He has two brother's names are: Salvador and Dominique. He has one sister that is deceased. And we have no name for her. He came to the US in 1906 and married Tabitha Ellen Stanley. Really the only we know for sure is who he married. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Not sure if you had seen this manifest, but it does match your information (surname, place, and year of birth) about Agazio.

This manifest tells me that he did not sail.... on this particular voyage, so information on this manifest is limited..

He did arrive in 1906, just checked his second manifest, he was joining his father Pasquale in Pennsylvania.
He has been naturalized as noted by the numbers on his manifest, so by sending for this info you can obtain further clues.
And you are right, he did come from Guardavalle........
will check for further records.

Do you know if either of his brothers came to the states? And when did he change his name? Did his wife go by a knickname? How many children did he have, their names and ages??

My Great Grandfather came to the US in 1906 and we can not find any records on him before that. My grandmother (his daughter) is still living, so I was tring to help her out. His name is Agazio Bressio (not sure of the spelling on the last name). When he came to the States they changed his name to Charles Holly Bush. We were told he was born in Guardavalle, Italy. But not for sure on that either. We can't find anything concrete on him before 1906. We believe his father's name was Pasquali Bressi and his mother's name was Teresa(may be spelled different). Since you are looking for info prior to 1906, by obtaining Charles marriage application and/or naturalization....confirming parents names........
you have the option of either researching the family farther back thru microfilmed records, or writing to the town of origin in Italy for records.

I would still send in the FOI request......it may confirm not only parents given name but the correct spelling of the surname.
