I am trying to find anyone who might know of my grandfather
Antonio DiFazio, he was born in 1876 and came to England where he died in 1948. His sister Felicia went to America.
Their parents were Francisco and Rosalio and they all lived in Alvito, Frosinone.
There are 9 listings in Alvito of persons having the Di Fazio surname. While a few of them may have the information the rest are rel;atives anyway so why not write one geeneric letter to all of them asking them if they know anything about your family. It would be preferable if the letter was inb Italian (go to local high school or university with language dept ) and if all else fails then write in very very simple english sentences. English is a second language in Italy and taught in schools so teachers there can translate. There may be a Di Fazio who teaches english????
Go to www.paginebianche.it and put in Difazio in the first line and the town name in the third line (Alvito) and click CERCA for the entire 9 listings..( V=via or street) comune means town or village, postale codes is obvious and (prov initials). Peter
