Family names; Bonaccorso, Tardia, Fardella, Ceravola

Post by gohm69 »

I am looking for family. My gggrandfathers name was Filippo Bonaccorso. He was born on Dec. 11, 1860, In Trabia Sicily. His parents names are Salvatore Bonaccorso and Teresa Tardia. He went over to the United States, on or about 1890. His future wife went over on or about 1893. Her Name was Salvatora Fardella. She was born on Sept. 5 , 1873. Her parents names were Leonardo Fardella and Santa Ceravola. They married in Kansas City, Missouri. on Sept.15, 1893. Between 1893 and 1911, they had 12 children. But they also moved back and forth between the United States and Canada a few times. No one knows why. I am looking for these peoples siblings. We do not know of any but are pretty hopeful that they do have some. Any information, no matter how small or insignifigant it may seem, would be greatly appreciated. Maybe somehow if possible i would be able to fill in some blanks for someone else as well. Thank you

There are more than 100 Bonaccorso surnamed persons in the white pages in the USA. You might also wish to try the Canada white pages as well. Sorry that I cannot immediately assist you. Peter

How sure are you about Tardia? There is a very good change that Teresa's surname is not Tardia but Tardio. Tardio is a common name in Trabia and originates from San Nicola a subburb of Trabia. Please check your sources again and send me a private message because I will not be able to read the forum the comming 4 weeks.
