Trying to find Germani relatives in Italy

I have undertaken the task of researching and documenting my complete family tree, on branch being Italian. My great-grandfather came to the United States in 1912, so that is currently where my data has ended.

Any ideas on how I can find my Italian ancestors and/or living relatives? Surname is Germani, and I believe from the Rome area. Also loking for the surname Lotti.
