Thank you Edmondo. I am sure the members of this forum will be very pleased as they try to attach documents they are talking about.

Re: Problem with attaching documents has been fixed.
I was going to say, "Kewl!" and attach a test image... but I am confused -
I don't see an option to upload an image directly to the forum, therefore what exactly has changed? It appears that one must still upload image files to a third-party host site and then reference the image by its http... address after clicking the Insert Image icon above the new message text box.

Do not use "Quick Reply" but the "Post Reply" button and scroll down.

Re: Problem with attaching documents has been fixed.
Nope; the entire "Add an Attachment" section is missing from my screen. It's not there for a "New Post", either.
Is this a permissions issue perhaps?

I checked the persmissions and according me they are o.k.
Maybe another member can confirm if it is working yes or no.

Re: Problem with attaching documents has been fixed.
Actually, it seems to be missing only in this board. I just noticed that it ("Add an Attachment") is there in other boards such as "Italian Genealogy" and "Locations in Italy".
Re: Problem with attaching documents has been fixed.
I checked the user permission, not the forum permissions
It should work also here now.

Re: Problem with attaching documents has been fixed.
Edmondo - a minor detail perhaps, but if you click the "Allowed Extensions and Sizes" link just above the Filename inpuit box, it indicates "Images -> Maximum Upload Size: Unlimited" however when trying to upload a large image, you get an error message saying maximum size is 256kb.Edmondo wrote:Thank you for your help Johnny & Livio.
