Loiercio or Marrone

Post by Dianabarrett »

Hello,
I am looking for information on my parents. My family tree is very confusing.

My father's last name is Loiercio

My mother's last name is Marrone

Both were born in Italy and both passed away in 2002.

I know that I have living relatives in Italy both sides (Loiercio and Marrone).

I need help this is my first time.
Thanks,
Diana

Hi,
You may be aware of this already but there are 2 Family Trees on Ancestry.com
It looks like the poster is from Brazil.
They have listed a Vittorio and a Maria.
Is this your tree? If not, if may be someone you need to contact.

Thanks,
Joann

Thanks for all the info. Everything has been a great link. I was able to email a Loiercio and they emailed back. This site is great and so are the people here.
Thanks,
Diana

You may be able to send for their military records.
Check out the WW2 Memorial website.

Joannsalvo,

Thank you for that. I just clicked on the link you provided and was able to see the records for my Uncles. You have been a great help. I would have never looked there. Thank you again.

On November 3, 1900 came the family of Michele and Concetta Marrone in New York, originating in Palmi, Reggio Calabria. Michele Marrone was born in 1873, was 27 years. Concetta Marrone, his wife, was born in 1870, was 30 years old. Loreta Marrone, daughter, born in 1889, was 11 years. Elvira Marrone was born in 1899, was 2 years old. And Giovanni Marrone was born in July 1900, was 4-months. Please check that Giovanni Marrone is the father of Mary Marrone, who married Vittorio Loiercio.
