William e Celia: nuove indicazioni
William e Celia: nuove indicazioni
5. Richiesta di carta della social security SS-5. Sto impostando la richiesta per spedirla.
Avete altre idee?
Grazie

Re: William e Celia: nuove indicazioni
http://aad.archives.gov/aad/display-par ... ch=27&pg=1
RAUER#CELIA############# NEW YORK BRONX NEW YORK CITY NEW YORK 44 Civil Life 24
BRANDT#CELIA############ NEW YORK KINGS NEW YORK CITY NEW YORK 44 Civil Life 24
ciao,
suanj

Re: William e Celia: nuove indicazioni

Re: William e Celia: nuove indicazioni
Re: William e Celia: nuove indicazioni
I came to the following conclusions after tiutto what you all have given me or made available.
Domenick Frecentese and family arrived in 1923 in NY and are hospitalized in a sanatorium, then resigned and returned to Italy. In 1927, unable to return to NY and Domenick moved the art of the pharmacist's own or as a helper dependent. Are enrolled and William stands out in a dangerous action for which he is wounded and deserves the silver star.
After the war, William began working 24 years and in 1950 was linesman in Rockville (NY). On the evening of February 17, 1950 clash between two trains cause 38 deaths and over one hundred injured. Disaster. The week after the accident (a correction of what was written previously) William was asleep during the turn. Shall be dismissed from the railroad company.
From that moment we lose track of him. Between 1946 and 1976 (the year of death) was married to Celia, that you do not know the surname), a Jew, but you know that she was born in 1924.
I do not know if William has suffered sanctions. He is buried in the cemetery on Long Island among the veterans with a guaranteed place for him and his wife.
Had children?
Obituaries, and it is strange given the habit of Americans primarily for veterans, there are not states. Many people have tried to trace them failed.
I worked on a few tracks:
1. The photos of the tombs of the cemetery. I had them. On that Celia is the star of David but not the surname.
2. Letter of request from the military service of William. But the office of the Ministry for Veterans replied negatively because of privacy.
3. Letter to the Jewish community of Far Rockaway, where the couple lived Frecentese. Negative response. The head of the community for 38 years resident in the area have never heard of Celia. I asked to check their records. 'm Waiting.
4. I wrote to the four priests of the Catholic churches (William was a Catholic, even on the stone include the Cross Catholic) to see if they hear from their books, notably marriages and deaths. I am awaiting response.
5. Request Social Security Card SS-5. I'm setting the request to send it.
Any more ideas?
Thanks
Rachis
