Your question as to how sections and hamlet differ in the USA has nothing to do with the response you received. Yet you responded like someone gave you the answer to your question. If this is the case fine but it doesn't make sense to the reader since sections and hamlets in Italy refer to "frazione" which are similar to neighborhoods or hamlets in the path of these growing towns. This would be a n appropriate response to your original question and not the website for a town which has no bearing on your question. Peter

i edited the post after recieving a reply, didn't stop to think that it wouldn't make sense to someone who hadn't seen the original post, i left the question with regard to sections and hamlets as i still needed clarification on that point. my apologia....
