i have not heard of the name "palice" but i have heard of the name "pulice". the family emigrated from nicastro.

Palice is a north euorpean surname. The closes country is Austria with one person immigrating from Austria to the USA. Pulice, howver, is definitely an italioan surname. Peter

i think it actually may be pulice...im not exactly shure how its spelled because its my greatgrandmothers last name not mine and she just passed away two years ago. Thank you for your help.
