Looking for relatives

I\'m looking for relatives with the surname Schiavulli. I know my grandfather Angelo Schiavullu came here in 1909 but I want to try to contact other relatives in Italy.

look for his entry into the USA at www.ellisisland.org and obtain his town of origin and then go to www.paginebianche.it and insert his name in the first line and the town in the third line and click cerca. If there is anyone in the town with his last name you may wish t contact them by mail or telephone. If you are seeking documents like a birth certificate then please let me know and we will take it from there. Peter

Ufficio di Stato Civle, Postale 70051, Comune di Barletta, Provincia Bari, italy. Write in Italian with full name and date of borth for person you are seeking and type of document requested. Go to www.italianancestry.com in part 3 (under calbrese resources) and include a self addressed envelope with $5.00 in Euro or dollar for stamps as suggested by the Mormon church people. The service is free but requests by mail are at the end of the line. If you wish you can obtainb information fro the Family History Library nearest your home since they have microfilmed all of the records in Italy. Peter
