Antonio Scialla birth

Post by oilman19 »

Hi,
This should be my g grandmother's brother which provides me a link to my ggg grandfather Alessandro. I can pretty much make out the names but not much success on the other details. Can someone help, please.
Thank you,

Jim

Just toying with the year on this record. Otherwise-

Raffaele, of deceased Ignazio, father, age 41, a farmer, Strada ?

Maria Tescione of Alessandro, mother, age 27, farmer

neonato (newborn) Antonio born on the 20th of June, baptized on the 21st in the parish of Sant'Erasmo.

Hi T
I think you're right. The handwriting on the baptism section was written by the priest (the parish was Sant'Erasmo) and the street name on the left was written by the town official, so that would explain why the handwriting of the street name looks different.

Thank you so much. This info opens up branches to my tree that I did not know where to put them.
Much Appreciated.
