Looking for my family ansestors in Santa Margherita di belice Sicily.
My grandfather was Harry Abruzzo married to Minerva Frey living in Brooklyn New York 1930. His father was Gaspari Abruzzo who came from Santa Margherita di belice. I believe to be Fillipo Abruzzo is my great great grandfather. looking for information to continue the family line and confrim that Fillipo is my grandfather.

Hi Jerry,

More than likely Maria La Sala was their mother. Italian women maintained their surname after marriage and traveled using that name. The manifest indicates that Maria is going to join her husband Filipo Abruzzo on flushing Ave., in Brooklyn, NY.
