translation help

The following are the birth and death records of my GGM's sister. Will someone please help me with the dates and let me know if I am correct that they are the same person? (father Gaetano DiLoreto).

If there is any other information on the records that could help me I would appreciate it.

Teresa di Loreto was born 21 February 1880 - Father Gaetano (first doc)

Not sure what you are lookin for in the second image...this is statement of witnesses.

Teresa di Loreto died 12 March 1880 at age 22 days - daughter of Gaetano.
The testimony of the death was given on the 13th, but the death occurred "ieri" - "yesterday".

Thank you. My GGM's name is the same of the same parents so I needed to make sure.
My GGM was supposed to have been born in 1884 - I went through all of the Capestrano records from 1880-1887 and found another Teresa DiLoreto of different parents... Maybe I will put that birth record on here just to make sure.

Can't read the date or parents' names on the first image. Can read the child's name as Teresa. What seems to be very clear is the notation on the left...unfortunately much of it is cut off. It may be a marriage notation, and seems to be dated 9 October 1903. If you can move the image to capture that it may be another clue.

In the second image you can read the name of one of the witnesses: Giiuseppe Loreto, age 60. The script after that seems to indicate that the father could not be present because he is far from this comune.

Do you know if Teresa's father had immigrated by the time she was born?

this would be somewhere between 1880 and 1887 so possibly 1883?

I have no idea if her father immigrated - I do know that her father was deceased by the time she married my GGF in Bussi in 1903 and they immigrated after that.

The name was indexed as Teresa DiLoreto - I'm not sure if I cut it off when I scanned it or if it was like that.

oh I see what you mean about 1903. I wonder what that would be.. I can try to go back to the history center this weekend and see if I can read it or scan it better

October 9, 1903 is the day that she and my GGF were married!

Ok, this is it! She married Felice Zampino on Oct. 9, 1903 in Bussi..... I can see his name there. I can't believe I didn't pay attention to it.

I wonder if Guiseppe was her grandfather then?

I didn't see information in the margins of many of the birth records. She married when she was considered a minor (age 20)... is that why?

That's a good question.

I really don't know why some events are noted in the margins and others aren't. I also see that notations are very common in some comunes, but not so much in others.

I don't think it had anything to do with her being a minor. I've seen notations for second marriages after a spouse has died. Maybe some clerks were more diligent with their records than others.
