looking for info on NICHOLAS FERLAZZO from Gioisa Marea, Messina, Sicily, Italy, born 1880, married Maria Villanti, arrived USA 1905 or 1910; his mother Rose Sidoh and father Antonio Ferlazzo. Hi,

I have some info on this guy, I think. Number one, I have his death record, because he died in Brooklyn (but wasn't the Nicola Ferlazzo I was looking for). I can mail it if you give me an address.

He died May 18, 1933 at a private residence, 1073 70th St. He was a widower, wife's name is Marietta, no birth date, father's name Anthony, mother Rosa Sidoti. Cabinet maker working for an antique dealer. Usual residence: 2701 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA. Buried St. Mary's in Norfolk on May 22.

I kept track of some Ferlazzo Cianos before I realized they really have nothing to do with me, as we are Ciano-less Ferlazzos.

It looks like I figured that out before I went higher than his parents, but he did have at least three siblings. Kids of Anthony & Rosa were:

Nicolo, 29 Mar 1880, Via Provinciale, Gioiosa Marea, Italy

I don't know if I scanned them or just took notes; I'll have to look. It does appear that those are the only Ferlazzo Cianos I took down info for, or at least entered into my DB just in case.
