The document is dated Aug 8, 1849 at noon. Pietro Malefronte (not sure of the spelling of his surname), age 33, a tenant farmer living in Castellammare, appeared to present a female infant born to him and his legitimate wife, Anna Coppola, age 25, a spinner, who was living with her husband. The child was born on the 8th and named Maria. She was also baptized on the 8th.

The two notations on page two are two marriages for her.

The first dated Nov 6, 1875 -she married Francesco di Martino, of deceased Pasquale and Liberata Esposito. He was born in the town on April 6, 1845.

The second marriage took place between her, now a widow, and a widower. This occurred on Sept 7, 1907. The spouse, Giovanni D'Ammora, was the son of deceased Salvatore. He was the widower of Maria Vincenza di Maria.

I think the surname is Malafronte and not Malefronte

Good observation, T, but then in the first marriage notation the surname is clearly spelled as Malafronte. I was trying to access the Italian white pages for the town to see if anyone is still there with the surname, but the website wasn't loading for me this morning.

Well, after all the work by everyone to help me it turns out this is not the Marianna I needed.

So sorry to take up everyone's time that assisted me in the translation.

I could just not read it today.

Thank you again,
