Surname BELLONI in Abruzzo

Hello everyone,

I've recently delved into my families history, and have had some great finds so far. I'm currently working on my grandfathers family, who are 100% Italian.
I've had no problem at all with his mother's side, but his father's side is giving me a rough time. The only information I have as of now is as follows:

Mariano Belloni

Born: September 5th 1880 in Capestrano

Died: April 6th 1957 in Brewster, Ohio (not even sure when he came to the U.S., but he founded a Grocery that is still in our family called Belloni Foods in 1908. He dropped the O when he came to the states, and his name was simply Marian.

His fathers name was Guiseppe Belloni and his mother's name is unknown. I have been told by my great aunt that the name Cardelli may have some connection to her, however there is no fact to back it up

He married Annunziata Leone, but I have been able to find EVERYTHING about her. They had 8 children together, 2 of who are still living, my grandfather Quindo Belloni and my previously mentioned great Aunt Louise (Belloni) Morrison. She turned 100 this year, so she is definitely the historian of the family. What intrigues me is that she knows very little of her father's side of the family. She also said he may have had 1 brother - Paul or Paulo Belloni.

The little information I have give you is all we know of him, and if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

In 1903 ship manifests were only 1 page (is that what you meant?)
It was on ancestry. com, but I checked and it is on Ellis Island also

Hi!
Actually it's probably the line after his friend's name (check how line 1 is written)
It's pretty hard to make out.
Appears to be an "In care of" address
