There does not appear to be a current definitionof the word Falabella. It may be the present for the italian idomatic expression Bell' e Fatto which means done up or ready made. My personal and unsubstantiated belief is that it is a dialect expression meaning to make something or someone beautiful. Peter

Hi: only an suggestion; this surname (probable version of original Falabello, sure present in Italy around 1645) is composed from two words, Fala+Bello/a:

-Fala: the Fala, in Roman age, was an tower of wood in order to hurl darts in you besiege or in the circus combats..

-Bello/a=coming from bellum latin word meaning war...
