Has anyone got an address and contact information for the archivist in charge of the records in Biella. A name and telephone number would be great.
I am going to Milan today at short notice and would love to take a day and see what I could find about my ggfather who was born in Brusnengo, Biella in 1830.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Archivist in Biella, Piedmonte
Hi,
I was born in Biella and lived there for many years. My aunt and cousins live in Brusnengo.
If you need records for your ggrandfather you must take into consideration that acts start from 1866 but you might find your ancestor's marriage or his parents death if this happened after 1866.
Anyway you can get in touch with Mrs. Gisella Sappino she's the officer in charge.
Email: anag.brusnengo@ptb.provincia.biella.it
Telephone (in Italy): 015-985411
Offices are usually open in the morning.
Hope it helps.
