OMG!!!!
I am overwhelmed! IN A GOOD WAY. I am so GRATEFUL FOR EVERYONE!!!! I wasn't expecting for so many people to help me!!!! I am so happy and thank you ALL. This forum is amazing.....I couldn't find LaTerra for the 1920 census, but I knew someone on here would....

Sorry it took me all this time to reply! But thank you to everyone on here for helping and finding the information...I guess the census people wrote very sloppy back then...

We are glad to help :-D

And glad you are so pleased!!!!! :-)

And yes, not only did some of the census takers write illegibly, they created some spellings that make our searches VERY challenging...

But soooo rewarding when we find those ancestors :-D :-D

Yes I'd have to agree, everyone makes a great team on this forum! Laura, I hope you have better luck with Tabbacchino than me! I can't find anything, I'm assuming that the census people spelt it wrong...It is very rewarding when you find it though!!

Vj thanks for that article! Antonio Tabbacchino's daughter, Violet who is one the 1930 census is still alive and lives near me...She is a great storyteller and has all her memory. Can't wait to show her....

Can someone post Andrea LaTerra's manifest from ellis island? I can view the first page of his manifest, but then I can't find the page to go along with it....Has anyone else ever faced that issue?

I will update anyone if I happen to find the 1920 census for Tabbacchino.....I'm trying a whole bunch of different spellings!

Is this the one you were looking for?
If it's the 1906 manifest, there will be only 1 page
- abt 1907 manifests went to 2 pages

This is never-ending!

There are three families listed at 96 Fulton Street in the 1920 census; none of them are even close to Tabbacchino.
