Letter from Mayor of Poggioreale need translation help

Post by Melona75 »

1) Manno Francesca 23/03/1877,
2) Manno N unzia 03/01/1880
3) Manno Maria 08/11/1882
4) Manno Nicolò 21/03/1887

Se riesci a trovare qualcosa in questo va bene , altrimenti cercheremo ancora altri Francesco Manno
Ciao fatti sentire. Leonardo Salvaggio Sindaco di Poggioreale.

Dear Melanie, I am Leonardo Salvaggio Major of Poggioreale. I've done a preliminary research in the town archives and I've noticed that in the 1800's several families had the surname Manno.
In order to the help you better it would be appropriate to know the name of your great great grand mother.

a)Manno Francesco born in 1811 to Giuseppe and to Ancona Rosaria.
he married in 1833 Campisi Francesca and the had at least the following children:
1) Vincenzo born 02 January 1841
2)Matteo born 24 Feb 1845, married Margiotta Rosaria and father of Francesca 24 Aug 1876 e Francesco 09 Aug 1883
3)Antonino born 16 Feb 1852 married in 1876 Bonasoro Maria.

b) Manno Fancesco married with Voce Antonina to whom was born Giacomo in 1815 who married in 1845 Falco Rosa and had two children Antonina 08 Mar 1850 and Antonino born in 1852 who married Bonasoro Maria in 1876 and they had:
1) Manno Francesca 23 Mar 1877,
2) Manno Nunzia 03 Jan 1880
3) Manno Maria 08 Nov 1882
4) Manno Nicolò 21 Mar 1887

If the above is useful OK, otherwise I will research other Francesco Manno
Ciao and let me know. Leonardo Salvaggio Sindaco di Poggioreale.

Wow! I wish my family had come from Poggioreale!

Such a difference from the many comuni who cannot bother to respond at all to a request for documents.
