I'am planning a trip to Palermo, Sicliy next year (2011) and am trying to line up a translator and guide for my trip. Does anyone know a reputable guide/translator or have information as to whom I might contact on this subject?
thanks

Hi Christo,
i know a reputable guide (graduate) expert in Palermo and Sicily history. She is fluent in English and French. She is a touristic guide and sometimes, thanks to her knowledge, help me in ancestors search. In summer she is a bit busy but if you let me know the date of your trip i'll try to explayn to her your plan.

greetings from Palermo.

Vincenzo

Vincenzo
Thank you very much for the email. Sorry I've have taken so long to reply, but have been trying to put dates together for next October 2011.
I plan to be in Sicily in October of 2011 as if yet we haven't firmed up the dates. I am very interested in knowing more information about the guide, such as her cost and if she can research my ancestors. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I will let you know within the next month the dates we will be in Sicily.
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my enquiry.
Respectfully yours.

Christo
