G. Battista Perri/Marie Caruso

I am looking for information on Giovanni Battista Perri. He was born in 1872 or 1873 in the town of Nicastro, Province Catanzarro. In looking at the surname database it looks like there may be some information provided within this site.

As for the surname database, you just email the person with surname of interest... I have contributed surnames... I only received one email in 6 months... and I have emailed out myself requesting infor with a few replies... so it does help...

If you want ancestral info about the names you've mentioned at this forum, you might consider providing more info...such as a list of siblings, more about Marie, married in USA or Italy.. where they settled..., what you have already researched etc...

There is a Boston ships record of a Giovanni Perri (Birthdate about 1871), traveling with Francesco and Salvatore, all going to brother Antonio, cousin Michele, and nephew Giuseppe Perri in Chicago... They were from Castella???...one manifest... 6 Perri's....

p.s. as for Maria Caruso... there are about 25 of them coming through the Boston Port alone!

The e-mail function of the surname data base of this site is not working. You can search for a name and click on the result. It will take you to e-mail, but the e-mail address is not complete. Just says Italian surname data base, no @hotmail.com or whatever. It does not link to whoever submitted the surname either. So you can see if anyone is researching your surname in a village of interest, you can't make any further contact. Perhaps this can be fixed.
