As many of you, from the posts I have read, I am trying to obtain dual citizenship. Any info on my great grandfather or my great grandmother would help me out immensely.

My Great Grandfathers name was Guesippi (my aunt said it was spelled this way in Italy, but the Social Security Index has him listed as Gueseppe but i Have also seen it as Giuseppi in my great grandma's obituary) DeVita. He was born on February 29, 1904, died November 13,1974 in Youngstown Ohio (Struthers actually) and married my great grandmother in October 20,1921, her name was Angela Marie DiGregorio DeVita. My great grandmother was born on 1903 June 20, 1903 in Bagnoli del Trigno and passed away in January 1993 in Youngstown (Struthers). They were also married here. They had 3 children born in Italy and came to this country in 1927 and moved to Youngstown, Ohio in 1929. My grandmother, Viola Mary Dulovic, who passed away almost a year ago was born on May 16,1930 in Youngstown and had a brother born after her that passed away at 6 months old. All the children had their name changed by the church. My grandmother who was born with the name Yolanda. I am obtaining the 3 death certificates for my Guesippi, Angela and Viola. I am looking for more information about their arrival, Guesippi's parents name, where Guesippi was born, and if and when he naturalized. I do not live in Youngstown and am not able to access their obituary records for him. Angela's mother and father (my great great grandfather and mother) were name Salvatore DiGregorio and Mariantonia DaLonza DiGregorio and her brother name is Biase DiGregorio.


Please help. The three children born in Italy were named Pasquale, Domenica, and not sure of the third (Patrick, Margaret, and Ann once they were changed.).

as you can read Giuseppe was born in Brazil from italian parents, and back in Italy where married... and after emigrated in USA..

i have read on some posts census info about relatives. can someone point me in the right direction where to find this info. when i look on 1930census.com i can not find anything listed for angela or giuseppe. I know they moved to mahoning county in 1929. i also have their birth dates but i do not see any thing on that site that shows either of their names listed or listed as spouse and their birthdates.
