Hi,

This is my second post but I want to thank VJ and Jack182183 for the impressive help they gave me on my first post. Long story short we went to Lucchetta in Calabria Italy to see the home town of 35 Lucchetta's that live in Canada. We made great friends during our visit. The town was great to us. The comune was great to us, we even found the 200 year old house that is still standing belonging to the Lucchetta name. I want to thank you for all your help.

I have my own family that I am interested in finding out more info for. I hope some one can help me.

My Grandmother's name is Antonietta Perdono (married name Lombardi). She was born in Foggia July 1 1922. There is a chance she was born in France. The brother's name is Nicolo.

Her fathers name is Alfonso Perdono. I have limited amount of info for Alfonso. I know he died in France, we think marsaille.

I do have info on Maria Vita Roblessa born November 11 1874 , death January 17 1950.This would be Antonietta's grandmother.

The last names of these people are not Italian we would like to know as much information on the Perdono family name as we can find. Antonietta has 6 daughters living in Canada any info we could get would be greatly aprecciated Thank you for your time

Hi, abt Maria Vita, the surname is Robles most probably and not Roblessa ( it exist not); I am born in Foggia area and I know abt Robles surname in the area... Perdono (sometimes spelled Perdonò) and Lombardi are italian surnames... Perdono very rare...

Yes you are correct about the accent on Perdono but i am in Canada and my computer does not have it.

I will take your advice on Roblessa to Robles and research that name.
