Hello meganitaly88 :-)

Can you provide a few more facts? Approx. date of birth, death, etc?
Names of children?

MEANWHILE...
Found a Passport application for Domenica Baima, widow of Domenic Baima, living in La Salle, Illinois... Born in Corio, Italy in 1865.

If this is your GGM - What luck...there is a photo on page 2 of her!!! :-)

...about 1865..i believe she died september 8th, 1930. Harry Trucano was my great grandfather. i am curious as to why they have 2 last names...example: harry trucano bamia.

Okay...so Domenic Bamia was my great great grandfather...and then she must have married Great Great Gpa Trucano and had the four boys.

In the census above they are listed as step-brothers to the head of household, Vincent...

Hmmm...Okay...Thanks though for the info..every little but helps. on my grandpa's side his dad was full blooded italian and then my grandma's mom was sull blooded sicillian. so i have italian on both sides. im tracking both sides down, and my grandma is the oldest of 59 grandchildren so this could be an all year project.

...I have found out from family that Philiip Trucano ( my great grandpa's brother) died at a very young age. he died at 20. I heard from taking poison..im just curious if there is an obituary or death notice..that way i can get official dates. phillip along with other family are buried in the local cemetary...guess ill hafta make my way up there tomorrow.
