Looking for any info on family of Gennario Calvello, b1826 Marsiconuovo, Italy.
Married first to Maria Giuseppa Zanolla (could be Ianella) First letter of last name appears to be a "Z" on records. Date unknown.
Married again in 1876 to Filomena Parente. Children by both wives.
I dont know if you have their 2nd marriage record
Gennario Calvello age 50 profession farmer son of deceased Fidele Calvello and deceased Maria Zanolla all living in the same comune of Marsico Nuovo
Filomena Parente age 39 profession ??? daughter of deceased Antonio and Victoria Elefonte all living in same comune of Marsico Nuovo
Witnesses Raffele Mazza age 30 jail keeper/sentry for the city and Antonio Giannantoncio age 28 jail keeper/sentry for the city
Maybe someone can help with mothers name and Filomena's profession

Thanks, Marty. I have info on Giannario's marriage to Filomena Parente. They were married 14 Jul 1876. However, I did not have info on the witnesses which I appreciate. As for Filomena's profession, I can't recall.
My initial interpretation was that Giannario was a farmer, but I'm not that good in Italian unfortunately.
Unable to open link you gave me for marriage record.
Any little info/tidbit that comes my way is always appreciated in solving the bigger picture.
Was able to load images this time around. I had viewed these a few years ago at the Latter Day Saints local Family History Center but was unable to print them out as their equipment was somewhat antiquated. So these are great!
Giannario by his first wife had a few boys, Michele, Antonio, Gerardo and Donato and a daughter listed as Mariantonia.
There is some confusion about a gal named Maria Rosa Calvello who I found to be Michele's sister but info previously posted here by another party listed her parents as Francesco Calvello and Maria Rosa Ianella.
Are the images clear if not leave me your email and I will sent them to you just send me a private message Do have Gennario's birth record I was wonder if thats his middle name?
Ed I possible found Gennario's death record Sept 5 1902
His was on this record says father Carmine Calvello ,mother Maria Zannola funny the wife spot on the record was left blank with celibe there which means single maybe something happen He was a peasant farmer like was his mom and dad. They all lived and were born Paterno a frazione of Marsico Nuovo. The persons reporting the death were Giuesppe Battista son of deceased Giovanni age 62 peasant farmer and Antonio D'agosa son of deceased Michele age 69 peasant farmer in the house on via Castague Tell me what you think maybe his mom married twice
The witnesses to the record were Giuesppe Lomanto and Luigi Delio http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/356/gennarodeath.jpg
Marty - the puzzle gets better all the time. Also not sure if it's the same guy. His name is shown as Gennaro vice Gennario and his parents are different.
According to the date of death, that would make him 76 which is plausible but I need to dwell on this a little bit more. There were so many inter-family marriages - enough to confuse anyone.
