Capozziello surname
Looking for information about my great grandfather, Antonio Capozziello, from Faeto, Foggia, Puglia, Italy. He was born about 1858. He married Maria Grazia Benedetto about 1884. According to his death certificate, his father's name was Vincenzo Capozziello and his mother's name was Catherine Pastolla. I've been unable to locate immigration information. The 1910 Federal Census shows he immigrated in 1886 but the 1920 census shows he immigrated in 1894.

Thanks for the information. At the time of the 1910 Census there were two Antonio Capozziellos living in Bridgeport, Connecticut. One was my great grandfather; the other I always assumed was related though I haven't yet determined the relationship. I have not been able to locate Antonio in the 1900 Census. Thanks again. With your help pointing me in the right direction I was able to locate a birth record for my great grandmother, Maria Grazia Benedetto at familysearch.org. I also located a marriage record for her parents, Leonardo Bendedetto and Caterina Montanaro. Unfortunately the marriage record does not provide the names of Leonardo's and Caterina's parents.
