dual citizenship transalations

I'm in process of gathering my paperwork necessary for Italian dual citizenship and am in need of translation services. Can someone recommened a person who's reliable/honest that I can entrust my personal information to? What do they usually charge? Is it worth waiting to gather all paperwork before having anything translated? My appointment is early August and I'm getting nervous that it's taking so long to gather everything I need!

Many people have used Gabriella Einaga (gabriella_einaga@att.net), myself included, for reasonably priced and accurate translations, not only of certificates but personal and business letters as well.

Expect to pay anywhere from $10 to $75 or even $100 per document depending on who you use. Do not pay additioanl fees for "certified translations" unless your consulate demands them (most do not); these can be very expensive.

Having made the mistake myself, I would counsel against translating or apostilling anything until you have all your required documents and have reviewed them carefully for discrepancies.

I too used Gabreilla Einaga and found her to be very reasonably priced and efficient. I emailed her my documents, a few at a time, and she sent them back to me for proofreading in about 5 to 7 days. A few took a bit longer becuase she was very busy at the time. They were read by the Consulate at my appointment last March and no problems were found.
