If it's a boat record you are looking for, please provide more info... where he settled in the USA... what his American given name was... his spouses American name, children etc.... approx. year of arrival...

Have you seen any census records...??

The "sounds like" name could be Malzone... but have seen Melsoni records on Ancestry.com but very few...

Do you think they were from the Cremona area?... or North Italy??
