Re: Researching in Firenzuola, Tuscany
Hi!
Yes, I have gone through a lot of microfilms of Firenzuola records. I did find many ancestors and relatives in Firenzuola. My great-grandfather is buried there (he died there while on a trip to see family), which is one reason I would love to find relatives who live there. I have been in touch with a few over the years.

Re: Researching in Firenzuola, Tuscany
My great-grandfather was Giuseppe Oresto Vittorio Brizzolari (called Oresto).
His parents were Giovanni Brizzolari and Assunta Maria Benelli.
Assunta's parents were Andrea Benelli and Luisa Maria Assunta Ballerini.
Andrea's parents were Giuseppe Benelli and Maria Angiola Bruzzi.
Luisa's parents were Pietro Gaspero Ballerini and Maria Gaspera Galeotti.
Giuseppe's parents were Dionisio Benelli and Violante Berti.
Maria Angiola's parents were Iacopo Bruzzi and Anna Sabatini.
Pietro's parents were Valente Ballerini and Maria Stella Ballini.
Maria Gaspera's parents were Domenico Galeotti and Maria Anna Ramazotti.
Violante's parents were Sebastiano Berti and Orsola Galeotti.
Iacopo's father was Lazero Bruzzi.
Valente's parents were Marco Antonio Ballerini and Maria Domenica Pieri.
Maria Stella's parents were Lorenzo Ballini and Sabatina Facchini.
Domenico's father was Giovanni Francesco Galeotti.
Maria Anna's father was Sebastiano Ramazotti.
I actually went back to the 1700's with some of the families, as far back as I could with the records. It helped that the older records usually gave the person's father's name as part of their name.

Why not try the Italian Phonebook
There are several listings for SABATINI in Firenzuola
http://www.paginebianche.it/execute.cgi ... Firenzuola
And a few GALEOTTI
http://www.paginebianche.it/execute.cgi ... Firenzuola
Just change the surname in the "chi/cosa" space to find additional names...
